Another interesting point (never seen in other solutions) is the management of 'friendship' or 'My contacts': from the users list  you can mark a contact as a'friend' and - by checking the relative check box -  you can display only the list of your contacts.

When a user is marked as a contact this action is signaled to the other (with a little man green and gray) and he can accept the relationship or refuse.
